The Brief
That intimate, breath-of-fresh-air, California getaway is right at your fingertips—can you feel it? The founding husband-wife duo of this luxury Santa Cruz surf house sought to infuse the true history and skate/surf culture into their website copy, giving us the perfect opportunity to roll up our sleeves and get to work.
To Santa Cruz we went.
Story Arc
Our team had to see the property ourselves to really understand the magic of this place. From sharing the stories of how the property inherited a skate bowl, how each room was awarded a specifically chosen surf name, and describing what it’s like to sleep, eat and adventure there, this project brought us back to our travel writing days in the best possible way.
A surf house with soul.
The Result
Our time at Manresa Surf House allowed us to share the rich history of this 1960s property, giving us the inspiration we needed to craft website copy with soul. Through our work together, we were able to provide copy that informed future creative assets, like videography and graphic design. The founders of this beautiful space now had the copy they needed to showcase their storied seaside retreat for adventure-seekers near and far.
